Same score but maybe a tick more enjoyable than yesterday's $35 Russian River bottling, The Cutrer. A bit sweeter in the finish. Great price and a screw cap, might make the House White list :)

Upside surprise. Citrus, lemon/lime zest, malo and vanilla on the very aromatic nose. Lemon, lime, almond and vanilla on the palate. A little thin and watery into the finish, or would have scored higher. Great QPR @ $22 retail.

Value Calif. Chardonnay ($20 Costco) 2022 Sonoma-Cutrer Sonoma Coast. Sharp mid-dark gold, viscous (13.9 alc.); tropical, stone fruit, vanilla, lime nose; low-mid acids; round, ripe, long, semi-fat stone fruit finish. 15.5/89.

nice combo of acidity and fruit without a surfeit of oak; vanilla, citrus and pineapple on the palate with a decent finish...nice ! 90
