  Fragrant and fresh, this Syrah has a cool-climate feel with blackberry, white pepper spice, and black plum aromas nuanced with savoury earth and meaty tones. On the elegant, medium+ bodied palate it has very nice, balanced aroma replays on the flavour profile and supported by fresh acidity and elegant, fine-grained tannins. Along with a pleasant touch of smokiness on the palate, it displays elegance and balance throughout. Blackberry, earthy, and touches of tangy berry notes linger on the long, balanced finish, with excellent length. Enjoyable now, but will age gracefully over the next 10+ years. Score: 92+ pts
