Almost colourless, fine, lazy bead. Clean, approachable nose. Soft mousse, quite a crisp, savoury palate. More like a mid-range Australian sparkled than a prosecco. Good for the type, but bought for Buck's fizz. [£7.99]

Palest ivory. Nice, light prosecco nose. Quite a creamy taste, virtually no citrus; some green grape, a slightly bitter (but not unpleasant) background. This is insubstantial, but typical of the style - a good prosecco, but not a great sparkling wine. [£7.99; 11% abv]

Light, fizzy and with a little citrus. Fresh. An nice summer quaffer but there are cheaper examples around.
