Comparing this to the 2021 Wirra Wirra Farmer's Heart Grenache from McLaren Vale, both from Wine Access as a part of the Wine for Normal People program. Definitely prefer this wine. Popped and poured. Light-to-medium ruby color. Aromatic nose of herbs, raspberry, earth, violets. Light tannins with just a touch of velvet. No noticeable heat. Lively, pleasant acidity. Medium body. Savory cranberry fruit on the palate, sage, white pepper. Lingering slightly drying finish.

This is light in body and light in color. What I love most is the sage and other savory notes. There is fruit but it isn’t super juicy. This is a winner.

Mostly herbal notes in the nose and palate. Some underlying red fruit, but it didn't really stand out. Not a wine I would seek out again.
