Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • 11.5%, unaged, unfortified sherry-esque wine.
Apple on the nose and some creamy leesy notes
Low acidity, green apple fruit. Initially doesn't taste of much but there's a subtle creaminess here with some herby notes and a saline note.
Really rather nice. I can imagine drinking buckets of this on a hot day with seafood. I suspect it would be even nicer mixed half and half with manzanilla.
It's about £12 in England which is too much, I think it's about half the price in Spain.

Now trying this half and galf with Solear, delicious! Brings out the fruit and adds a layer of nuttiness., Works out at about 13% ABV,
