  A Special Club bottling - their first - Cuvee Gabriel. Very substantial champagne. Still light in color for a 12 year old pinot based champagne. Delicate honey notes on the nose. Unctuous in the mouth with again a touch of honey and maybe plums. Finishes quite long, albeit with a slight acidic note at the end which should pass in due course.
