Made in the spumante style, on first blush this frizzante rosé was tart cranberries and a mountain of chalk. After some time, it revealed a nose of honeysuckle and citrus, and some melon came to the palate. The chalkiness diminished, yet the ending remained a tart crescendo. It was serviceable, and interesting in its own right. Not sure I would buy this for myself (it was a gift), but I enjoyed its prettier elements well enough.
