Little past its prime, but was received well. drank and paired nicely with roasted duck, grilled radicchio, and cabbage salad. Was tight immediately after opening and finally started to loosen up after 40 minutes. Slightly tart by itself, but paired nicely with the fat of the roasted duck, and had hints of cherry and anise. Wishing we had opened this a year or two earlier, and would be interested in younger vintages by the same producer.

Interesting blend of Cab, Merlot and Syrah that is nicely balanced, with a touch of vanilla/oak that actually adds complexity. Last half of bottle finished with turkey dinner.

Mouth-filling, charred oak, dark berry and green pepper flavors complimented by ample tannins. Good with barbecue pork and beens. Improved after breathing for an hour.
