Roc Breia is a curious/fun side project from Theo Dancer separate from taking over Vincent Dancer. He purchased a relatively abandoned 10.5 ha plot of land (on limestone) in Macon and basically had to start from scratch since the vines were not in great shape. This comes across on the nose - strong minerality. I respect the efforts in revitalizing abandoned vines and tending to them with care. It doesn't feel like fantastic QPR yet but it is certainly possible (and likely given the talent of Theo) this project will churn out great wines, so only time will tell.
