Wow! I properly stored this wine. Not sure but I think it was unfiltered (we prof of sediments in the bottle). This is a mature rich balance cab! Aroma is so inviting with no smell of alcohol but a moderate berry bouquet. Upon tasting it continues to unfold. I don’t think this wine has peaked yet. I paid $22 and it’s market value is about $20, but it’s value is $150-200 easily. Again, wow!

Dark, inky purple. Bing and sour cherry on the nose followed by a TON of wood. On the palate, bright busting red fruit is overpowering. Curiously little oak taste. Wondering if this had been "flavored" with oak chips rather than barrells. The wine tastes like it has been mechanically extracted, concentrating the sour fruit flavors. May have worked with a fatty cut of steak but not very pleasurable on it's own.

Somewhat of an odd, strong aroma. Was put off by it. Maybe a bad bottle.

Sorry to not have any in reserve. This was such a great winery with special Dry Creek Cabs.
