  Candied pineapple, date, honey, candied orange peel, floral notes. Cheap plastic on the nose. Very rich, nice backing acidity but doesn't stand out to me.

  Had a glass at Weinromantik Richtershof in Mulheim. Concentrated nose of raisin, dates, honey, and beeswax with a touch of white flowers. On the palate the flower notes evolve into lavender, lilac, and a hint of spice on the finish. Not as dense as other aged auslese I’ve had, a benefit in this case. Glorious acidity.
