  • Lucky to get a sneak preview into how this is developing in bottle, without opening one of my own haha.

With a little more age, it has potential to be an exquisite effort from the KB burgundy series, and well priced.

At this stage, gorgeous bouquet of wet moss, sourdough, agave, garrigue, cracked pepper and river rocks. Barest hint of cranberry pastry underlining everything.

Palate is youthful, but shows suppleness and nuance, with silky tannin and considerable acidity.

Can’t wait to come back in many years.
