  Followed over five nights open. Still rather awkward and clunky as far as the mouthfeel and alcohol, but the flavor elements are there to make a nice drop if aging can work a little magic. I might try another in a year or so. 5+11+14+8= 88

  Tasting this wine over multiple days to see it’s evolution over time and acknowledging that I’m drinking this way too early.
  -Day 1: poured into a decanter and let it sit for two hours. This was all tannins and got a bit of muted fruit, but this was a tannic monster. Poured back into the bottle after the first glass
  -Day 2: Popped and poured out of the bottle. Tannins have mellowed significantly and I’m getting a lot more fruit and some heat from the alcohol. This is going to be a great wine in a few year’s in my incredibly uninformed opinion.
