  • Drank over two days. Upon opening the nose was absolutely mesmerizing. The palate was quite tight but it opened up over the course of the evening, finding an incredible focus and precision. An incredibly vibrant, transparent, energetic wine.

    On day two a bit of the energy and focus was lost (perhaps due to the relatively young age of the vines?), and the wine felt less compelling. Overall, I was very impressed and I’m looking forward to trying more from this producer.

  • Phenomenal.

    Lots of florals, crunchy red and purple fruits, potting soil. Shockingly delicious right now despite being very young still. I think this should age for another 10 years without issue.

    Prep: Decanted for 2 hours before tasting

    Powerfully floral nose of rose petals, potpourri, cranberry, baking spices. Bright and lively on the palate with a lovely purity of Luxardo cherry, raspberry, and plum fruit notes with some underlying organic earth minerality that lingers on a long finish. The wine’s supple tannins and fresh acidity provide ample structure to the wine. It’s a fun wine to drink now with a bit of air, but no harm in giving it a few years in the cellar.

  • Absolutely superb. Elegant and pure. Honest and transparent. Hugely floral throughout. Particularly roses up front plus some dried potpourri. The fruit is in the cranberry spectrum but it's not as bitter and tart as I often associate a cranberry spectrum Pinot with.
    One of the things that struck me the most about this wine was the masterful tannin management. This wine is just a baby and has probably only been in the bottle for a month or two, and yet, it is as soft and supple as can be.
    Right now you get a crabapple and wild strawberry on the finish, but I can tell that there's darker, more riveting components tucked away in this wine that are just going to take some time to develop and emerge.

    I'm grabbing a few of these today to lay down for a couple years. I don't think it's necessarily a wine for the super long-term cellar, But I do think it's going to add significant layers of complexity with just a little more time. I would say peak drinking window 2025 through 2028.
