Orange, honey, and flowers on the nose. Mango, lemon, pear up front. Creamy, like a tropical fruit shake on the mid-palate. A little wood on the finish. Outstanding wine except for the finish. It is still quite enjoyable.

From the glass, the nose is greeted with an amazing array of tropical fruits like mango and papaya. Also on the nose, white flower blossoms like jasmine, honeysuckle or gardenia. The combination of tropical fruit and floral seem to indicate a slightly sweet wine but with the first sip it is clear that the wine bone dry. Mango, papaya and crisp pear greet the palate. The fruit is set atop a creamy texture which comes from the fermentation and partial aging in old, French oak barrels.

Orange and pear nose. Light orange juice and mango attack followed by nice, creamy pear. Zippy lemon zest on the finish. Good with spicy food.
