  • Retail $45. Responsible Bottle (527g; 1lb 2.5oz). Under Stelvin. This was the third bottle that I tasted "with" Jesse Lange (it was on Zoom) and it was also the best. The Reserve program, like most, I imagine, involves selcting from the best barrels to create the blend. Medium to dark in color with largely black and blue fruit, surprisingly, on the nose along with some spice and a hint of mocha. The palalte is on the verge of "big" but stops short as the tartness comes in to quell the plentiful fruit (at least a bit). A delightful wine and like the other two bottles I samples with Jesse, this wine, even at $45, falls into the "great deal" category. Outstanding. 93 Points.
