  • Much better than the bottle tasted in December last year. That bottle felt a bit dry and skinny, but the fruit expression is lovely here. Pure and bright and floral, whiff of cedar, spicy depth, elegant weight, fresh and grippy but ripe, lovely balance, tight and youthful finish with good length.

  • Made from 100% Pinot Noir planted in Rouffach and Gueberschwihr, clay and limestone soils, 70% whole bunch, 3 day cold maceration, aged in new demi-muid for 11 months, 12.5% ABV, 650 bottles produced. Fresh and energetic, cool and minerally, modest fruit and a hint of spice, some warmth from the wood, clean and transparent with floral top notes, decent length. Light and precise but lacks a bit of generosity for my palate.
