  Aerated and decanted for 2 hours prior to pouring. Somewhat tannic, Medium Body, light on the nose with hints of Cherry, and Blackberry.

  Total cost (club $36+tax+shipping) $47. Nice dark color with small amount of white residue in glass when finished. Filtered? Some fruit to the nose when Coravin'd, less when nosing glass, flavor is very slightly less rich and deep as Trefethen's ($75 list, $60 club) but very acceptable, aftertaste initially rich but falls off to a peppery bitterness. My guess is that the peppery bitterness is a result of inclusion of stems - not the same as a Pinot (sorry). One more note: letting it breath in a glass (more surface area) improved both flavor and aftertaste, and I enjoyed Netflix until finished. So, feel free to include a few bottles on the shelf, but be patient when pouring. Again, initial pour produces a nice fruit in the air, as it would in the winery. Cheers all!
