  • Not a bad wine for the price. As described, 100% Cabernet with a deep rich core of blackberry, dark cherry, currants, aromas of sweet violets, a hint of tobacco and smooth tannins. A Cab that has 97% of its fruit from an unnamed C1 block on Pritchard Hill. Youthful and somewhat sweet but it's young and perhaps a bit of cellaring will allow this wine to develop some nuance and settle into a better place. 92/ 92+ Points. I look forward to trying another bottle after some cellar time. A decent offering from The Wine Spies.
