  Bright disc. Opaque ruby with red rim. Intense nose of ripe blackberry, black cherry, earth, plum and a hint of black pepper. Medium-bodied on the palate, with ample but well-integrated tannins. Same flavors as nose. Medium, fairly smooth finish. Nice Zin now.

  Tasted at Vintage Wines, Ltd in tasting bar. Bright disc, with opaque purple robe and red rim. Clean nose, with intense black cherry, plum, oak and Asian spices. Slightly sweet attack (likely secondary to alcohol and glycerin rather than residual sugar), with medium acidity and loads of supple tannins. Similar flavors as for nose. Long, smooth finish. This is an extremely nice zinfandel with an equally nice price tag.
