  Appearance was ruby to purple...
  
  Nose: dark... Plum and a bit of blueberry, violet, little bit of cedar
  
  Taste:
  Lighter than I expected. Hints of pepper with some of the plum and blueberry but very light. Heat throughout.
  Hollow mid palate and thin finish. No lingering taste, although a bit of heat sticks around and the mouth grip doesn't disappear immediately.
  
  Pass.
