This wine still has a few more years in the cellar. Still fruity and flavorful. Medium finish. Soft tannins. Very easy drinking. The bottle didn't last long enough. :)

Color is dark ruby red. Raspberry aroma on the nose. Dark fruit and spice on the palate with full body and sweet tannins. Very well balanced with decent length and pleasant finish. Stood up to a rustic, hearty beef stew very well. Would buy again in a good vintage.

Notes taken about an hour after opening. Nose has fairly concentrated red fruit, mainly plum and sweet raspberry, along with some alcohol and a hint of oak. Initial palate has some nice, subtle earthy notes, along with plum and vanilla oak following through. There are some soft tannins on the finish that hint to this wine developing more with age. There was some alcohol on the palate early on that blew off after about 30 minutes, which is impressive since the alcohol weighs in at nearly 15% (which seems conservative)
The label states the grapes are organically grown. There is not a lot of complexity, which makes me wonder if these are fairly young vines.

Dark tannins. Great earthy notes, oak, dark currant, vanilla notes. Took well over an hour to open up.
