  • Very refreshing. A bit sweeter than I was expecting, but still fresh and clean. Paired very well with lemon sauce and seafood. Could have had a bit more minerality, but this is still a very good wine.

  • Screw cap opening. Right when I opened this and poured it into my glass I got a nose of petrol which I havent really found in a young wine before. This quickly disipated within 5 minutes though and I didnt get any the rest of the bottle. This is an absolutely beautiful wine. The name "Balance" really epitomizes what this wine is about. On the nose I got just the right amount of fruit balanced with minerality. In my opinion this wine doesnt suffer from the same problem that certian other QBA wines do in having spatlese or auslese fruit concentration. The palate is equally enjoyable with excellent fruit and minerality backed by nice acidity. This definitely shows its MSR roots well. All in all an excellent QPR and one of the best $11 rieslings I have had to date.
