  The color is deep red almost black. On the nose notes of tobacco dried fruit and a funky forest floor mushroom note. On the early pallet it is surprisingly grippy but not overly intense. On the mid pallet notes of cherry and raspberry with a higher acidity finish that is long and moderately complex. Has great character but not the best Sangiovese blend from Chianti.
