Medium red fruits and vanilla notes on the front. Decent structure with soft tannins, slight hint of green pepper on the middle-end. Tannins linger on the finish while the fruit fades. I fear it needed more acid to carry it through.

Dirty and juicy. More than I could have have honestly hoped for, rolling strong for the low cost to age! Dusty tannins. Bright nose, some lime. Digging this. Held up well on day two, but very short finish.

nice tannin and decent fruit. very little finish--faded away quickly. but flavors were good while they lasted. and only $13, so can't complain too much. bodes well for weighty 05 bordeauxs.

very boring and flabby wine. the only thing this wine has is acid. where is the fruit? no mid-palate, barely any finish, ???? not sure what going on here. not corked, but there is something really wrong here.

This was a nice value-priced Bordeaux: shows how high the quality was across the board in '05. Not as structured as some others (and obviously not a classified growth), but this is way better than a Napa cab in this price range. Excellent daily drinker at $18.
