  This was more oxidative in style than the Champs Longs Chardonnay I had a few weeks earlier. On the nose almost like a Vin Jaune, but on the palate this showed enough freshness (for my taste) to be interesting to drink. Lovely oxidative notes, but still with some citrus fruit. Quite an intense wine that paired excellent with cheese, and almost was able to stand up against a stinky Epoisses. Not sure I would buy this again, but great to have tried!
