Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • After a massive hit of cherries on the nose, black licorice emerges. And bright acid followed by powdery tannins. This wine could benefit from time in the cellar. But with hearty Italian fare, it is just fine to drink right now. If memory serves, I paid about $20. If so, I’ll buy a few more for the short term and maybe two bottles to hide in the cellar for a few years.
