  Still going strong - nose of dried sweetish cherries, wit hints of old wood, forest floor and smoke. Palate is on a higher acidity and dry tannins, but finish still has mineral and fruity side. it's nothing punchy, very very subtle, elegant, shy and just murmurs it's old forest profile with hints of roses. Very clean nose and palate.
  I might be romantic, this is nothing punchy and spectacular in a technical sense, except it's purity. But it has such a weightless elegance and that purity really stops the time to me. Is a wine tasting subjective? But if my ideas ring the bell to you - try to find it. Their younger wine are also impressive and now I believe - they will age similar to this one, or even better (not only Favieres, but Charmes aux Pretres, Clos de Jeu and Salomon are highly recommended)
