Partial barrel ferment. Touch asparagus and full bore. Not sure what to think. Heavier texture weight on the palate and big aromatics. Not bad at $16, over at $19.

A little bit of brioche or oak notes? But I think no new oak -- neutral. But you still get it. Makes it less one deminesional than the lower tier "collectables". This is fairly interesting stuff. Not bad at all for $17.99.

100% Hand picked. 15% wild ferment, 50% old, old oak. The big difference is in the hand pick which he feels limits the huge "something" flavors. The hand picking supposedly gives it more of a mouthfeel and powerful richness. He feels that to get the Marlborough characers you need to use inccoulated yeast. Again, tasty, and definately more going on here on the palate. More like a Sancerre if you will. I remained unconvinced at the price I should unforunately say.
