  • Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim, and medium intensity.

    Nice nose of red and black fruits, light oak, spices, earth and peppercorn.

    Earthier on the nose than the palate.

    Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

    Very dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cherries, earth, black coffee, light vegetables, herbs, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

    Short finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

    This 8 year old is drinking nicely now. Showing mild complexity ,tangy and interesting.

    A good food wine that I paired with grilled meats.

    Tempranillo grapes were aged in American and French oak barrels for 36 months.

    13.5% alcohol by volume.

    88 points.
