90 minute slow ox. Medium garnet with bricking on edges. Medium acidity, medium tannins. Brooding and deep rather than bright, dark berries, forest floor, wood spice, tobacco leaf, and subtle smoke. This is definitively old school style.

Wonderful and powerful nose that immediately delivers a wide array of scents where spice and ash scents are nicely woven in a dark fruit fabric. The palate is rather long than wide, energetic rather than refined, leaving you a bit wanting in terms of complexity but the length is good. Altogether the wine gives a great but not unforgettable performance and should be consumed soon rather than late.
