  Radiant and intense dark purple-ruby in color with a brilliance that knocks you off your feet. On the nose, this wine screams modern showing an robust black cherry, current, black pepper, vanilla bean and wet earth nose. So this is the aroma that it feels like one solid cloud lifting out of the glass and into your nose. In the mouth, the wine immediately bites my middle plate with spicy woodiness followed by medium acidity and strong firm tannins coating my tongue. Charcoal, black cherry, and chocolate slowly ooze their way off my palate leaving only a green pepper and slate finish. I have a feeling this one needs a touch of time to relax. 3/5

In the mouth this wine is rich dense and full of big bold tannins. Modern in style and full of smokey oak, and restrained fruit. Black berries, and bitter chocolate, mingle in the mouth though I'm not sure what this wine is trying to be, either a modern fruit driven or at the finish it seems some what old school with minerals and herbs. Not fully integrated yet. 2.5/5
