I have tried this wine no less than four times, and I still like it. The fruit has become darker, but it still shows deep and rich notes of raspberry jam, cherry liqueur, and wet earthy soil. The wine does betray a bit more alcohol than before, but it's still a terrific wine and an outstanding example of California grenache.

It has been a few years since I last had this wine. Loved it in barrel and upon release. After some bottle age it seems to be developing quite nicely and is, in my opinion, in a really good spot right now. Less in your face, although still unabashedly new world, this wine displays polished notes of crushed wild raspberries, cherry liqueur, red vines, and sweet brown spice. Integrated and silky on the palate. Took it to a Grenache tasting and it was a huge hit!

Unbelievable that this wine is still drinking beautifully. We didn’t take any notes but everyone really enjoyed it

One of the best grenaches ever. Lots of fruit. Like drinking liquid velvet.... what a treat.
