  Beautiful wine (notes from memory). I was a little worried it would be on the decline, but not even close. Most S.B. viognier would be flat at this age, but this was still going strong, a testament to both Morgan and Yves' skill. It drank like a perfect blend of the best of a central coast and a rhone. Golden yellow color that clung to the glass. Very velvety mouthfeel. The nose was more muted than I expect it was several years ago, but still had a good dose of that floral and honey charm of viognier. Flavor profile was tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, kiwi) with very well integrated oak (vanilla, buttered toast). Oak is always a fine line to walk with viognier for me, but they did it masterfully. A truly great experience ... i hope they keep making this gem.
