  Decanted for 1 hour prior to drinking. Surprisingly, still some strong tannins here. Seems like it could still cellar a year or more. I think previous reviewers who were disappointed did not wait long enough or did not decant. Definitely smoke and leather but not as barnyardy as my last try. Good long finish too. I'm looking forward to trying again at the end of 09.

  I have to agree with radish that the acidity of this wine is a bit overpowering. I still rate it highly though and have kept this bottle properly cellared for several years. I wonder if some of the lower ratings might be due to poor storage before purchase?
