Green-gold in the glass. Grassy, ripe nose of cantaloup melon, apricot and a touch of plastic. Very round and sweet on the attack with marmalade, honey and sweet apricot but with a fine balanced citrusy acidity which keeps the freshness running through. Lovely, light, relatively simple Kabinett which at 16 years old seems absolutely ageless. 90-91

Yellow gold colored. Primary smells of apple and apricot with a bit of petrol/diesel. Tastes of apple and apricot. Acidity is well-balanced by the slight sweetness.

Similar notes to last bottle. Lovely intensity and balance with lots of apricot notes and more viscous texture than usually found in a kabinett. Nice now, but will last a long time (A-).

(Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett) Pale yellow color; nice minerally, tart peach nose; tasty, rounded tart stone fruit, lime and mineral palate, delicious; medium finish (WOTF)
(Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett) Well defined and aromatic nose with excellent ripeness. Very deep mid-palate, crispy acidity and lovely richness but still has that Haag delicacy. Such finesse allied with great ripeness. A brilliant Kabinett.
(Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett) Needed two hours to breathe but once it did it was sensational. Very floral, green apple nose with some tropical elements intermingled. Pillowy yet concentrated on that palate with a good amount of sweetness and great purity. Stunning and elegant. Another 2007 Kabinett in stelvin so not sure how long it will last. Will keep my bottle for the next ten years.

this was surprisingly sweet for a kabinett and could do with a bit more acidity and complexity
