  • First time I've had old vine Grolleau!
Enjoyed with some perfectly cooked lamb chops. The lamb's ass is definitely in my glass. But, oddly, it is good shit!
Animal stink, earth, red fruit. Good concentration. Well-balanced. Grippy finish. A fun wine. Not baaaaad!

Rockss and Fruit

(Olivier Cousin "Le Cousin Rouge" Grolleau) This was full of red quaffable fruit and very ripe. This was in an easy drinking style but still had stellar concentration. A juicy and very fun wine.
