  • A dry full bodied Merlot that can pair well with rich savory herbed meat dishes, smoked meat, pepper encrusted meat, or with roasted or grilled vegetables like bell peppers. AROMAS: white and black pepper; stewed tart red fruit like cherry, raspberry or cranberry; fresh cut bell pepper, oregano, thyme, dried roses, earthy, cedar. FLAVORS: confirms the aromas and add in hints of graphite, bitter dark chocolate, black tea leaves. STRUCTURE: dry, full body wine with some vinous qualities, lively acid, medium round tannins, long finish, 15.2% alcohol. Although it's nicely drinkable now, it would be even better with a bit more cellar time.

  • This was an outstanding merlot. A beautifully colored mouthful that delivered hints of chocolate and fig while...a lot more fruit forward than expected!
