  • Wow. I should have waited with the other bottles. This is very much 'a point' now. Consistent scents of apricot and an oily-like viscosity. Very typical and very nice.

  • Again, an oily-like viscosity and apricot that makes this wine remarkable. A notch better than last time. Very much 'a point' and very nice.

  • Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso but only 84 WS, what's the story here? Well, I can understand both, but I think Gambero Rosso in the end is closer to a fair call. The wine starts off a bit closed, perhaps explaining Winespectator's point of view. But after an hour it opens up; though not very expressive, the nose is very balanced and delicate with hints of apricot and honey. It has almost an oily-like texture, has a nice sweetness and a moderate aftertaste. Not as sublime as the 2001 I have drunk, but very nice.
