Found this hiding in the cellar - and what a nice surprise. Fully evolved with a nice balance of richness and acid; made for an excellent pairing with squash risotto à la River Café.

quite the delight. Honeyed notes adding to a long finish. The "olive-y" notes I get from their Chards was resolved, interestingly, but the finish was long and the fruit remained strong. Huge win for a SCM Chard. I see this was the only '01 listed on CT...which was the first Chard vintage from the vineyard.
Other aged Chards from WOE also taste better than the younger versions...seems to be a trend then.
