What better party conversation starter than a Tasmanian sparkler! Reading all the tasting notes will leave you bubbleheaded- contradictions pop out like a cork under pressure. My two bubbles. Clear, clean, dry, well balanced offering silent whispers of apple, yeast, citrus, over supporting talc tones of mineral leaving crisp and powdery impressions. Closer to a light Champagne than California sparklers. Agree it lacks weight, I prefer ballerinas who dance on air.
Suggest handing out maps to your party guests and a quiz on the Tasmanian devil.

Pale lemon with a fine bead. Nose is muted apple and citrus, palate is crisp with lemon and lime and some ripe apple. Good weight, clean, no autolytic, bright acidity.

Tasted blind. Guessed a new world blend. Fuzzy and not super focused. Still a decent sparkling wine.

This ticks all the Christmas boxes: soft, ample bubbles; easy-going ripe apple fruit; bit of biscuity complexity. Very quaffable.
