This appears to be a very good example of the style - very complex with lots of citrus fruit flavours bouncing around. A fascinating nose - unfortunately I'm not a fan of Marsanne. Extremely dry with bitter/sour notes which are exceedingly unpleasant for my tastes. Not to say it isn't a very good wine - my score is perhaps not fair in that regard - and that I wouldn't recommend it to those more enamoured of the style, but I regret having 2 more bottles at my disposal. Seems to me there's still quite a bit of life left as well - there's no way it's past its prime (tried my last bottle 2 years ago and there's been a distinct improvement since then).

very heavy, even for Thai food too much, oxidative notes, maybe already past its prime?

light golden, in color. carbon bubbles. citrus, dried tart fruit, orange blossom, candy, oak, on the nose. low-medium acid, on the finish.

Top Rhones Whites (tasted blind) (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Dense nose that still provide a refreshing experience (A-/A). Fabulous palate with a very long finish (A).
My #1, Group's #4 (95 pts). Tasted blind.

Horribly oxidized. I was warned off this parcel but purchased anyway. Should have known better.
