  Dinner with Amy & Justin at Val d'Isere. $58 CD. The nose on this simple bottle of wine was delicately tinged with pear and crisp apple and a distinct note of flint. On the palate this is crisp and refreshing, exceptionally clean with very nice length. For an 85 point wine, this is as nice as you can get, quite charming albeit simple, and lovely with a broad assortment of appetizers and salads.
