  • Consistency rules. Nice garnet color. Persistent mousse. Fresh berry wood nose. Puckering dryness and acidity make this scream for food. Lasagna is a perfect accompaniment.

  • Consistent with first bottle. Tasting party noted a distinct rusticity to the wine, and commented on it's dryness, a factor enhanced by both the bubbles and the slight tannins that were present. A rustic, earthy low-alcohol (very) dry soda. A pleasant surprise if you've come to Lambrusco via Riunite.

  • Garnet in color, surprisingly "rusty" looking considering the frizzante bubbles. Good persistent purple garnet mousse. Nice baked berries on the nose. Full flavored and fruity but with mouth-cleansing acidity and some tannin. Very nice QPR. Could be very refreshing on a sultry summer night, or with slippery Italian food (like a lasagna).
