Deep ruby color leads to a text book Napa cab nose of dark fruit, currant, and vanilla. Initially very tight palate but opened up nicely after about 2 hours to reveal beautiful dark cherry, candied plum, vanilla and a hint of tobacco. Finish lasts 35 seconds. At a very good place now and I suspect has at least 5 more years at this plateau. One of best wines I ever tasted for Cakebread.

Smooth tannins. Currant and plum. Very long and satisfying finish. Drink now.

Black with long vegetable tannic woody finish. The 1% cab franc helps. Improved as sat in glass.
