Needs to decant for at least 60 minutes. Initial cedar and oak aromas, followed by dark stone fruits, which then opened up to brilliant raspberry and dark cherry fruits. Wine has superb balance and integration, with nice 30 second finish. Silky tannins. WOTN. Compared against a 20 year old hermitage...

Not scored. Decanted. Drinkable but either past its prime or possibly flawed. Stewed fruit notes dominate.

Dark garnet color. Slight earthiness and full firm tannins predominate the black berry, black cherry, coffee flavors.

Dark garnet color. Black berry, black cherry, currant, mocha and coffee flavors but smooth silky refined tannins on the finish.

I was surprised at how bad this was, it is usually awesome, Epicurean's Aussies have held much better than GP's
