Not sure what to make of this. PnP, probably should have been decanted. As after 30 minutes peppery flavors emerged, was a bit flat upon opening.
Pepper! I was luck huh? Australian Syrah? Although not nearly as sweet as that thank goodness! I would say these are really funky and I'll decant further experiences to see what happens, high probability it will fall apart. Either way is fine as I wasn't enamored with this.
However, my wine loving poker group gulped it down with reckless abandonment and glee ))

Deep red in color, with some bricking. Shows a ton of fruit but it has mellowed out, and some nice earthiness showing through. New world without a doubt, but definitely drinkable. I also don't think this bottle will get better, so drink up.

Disappointing really. Out of the bottle this showed promise but it quickly fell apart. There's a kind of saltiness and texture which I've found with their 'red' wines that I've enjoyed and found interesting - that same saltiness and texture is present here too but something was awry - was a bit strident.

very nice--retains some impressive power and complexity. Invaded a Napa valley french bistro with this WA wine and wine which accompanied a wide range of rich food choices with style and substance.

Lacks power and might be fading but still has some nice cedar and cigar box nuances. Drink them if you got them.
