  Red to orange, with bricking - slightly muddy nose, some alcohol and cedar. Rather lacking in fruit, the acidity brightens it a bit, but the palate is a trifle hollow, with a short and hot finish.

  Barnyard, crushed rock and wood on the nose. Fairly tannic wine but really a short sour cherry taste. Tannins stay with you but that's it.

  medium color. some funk on the nose made me think this would be in italian-style sangiovese. it's not. very tart with sour cherries and some faint black pepper. still fairly tannic. a simple wine, but pretty tasty.
