Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 90.7 points

  • This is starting to fall away from its initial heights which is a disappointment. Enjoyed at a brown bag Grenache event recently, it did not show well against some lightweight opposition. Hot alcohol notes surprised me - maybe flawed?? - light vanilla oak and spicy red fruits. Structure is lacking now as the balance has gone but length remains a pleasing highlight.

  • Notes of red fruits dominate with a hint of candy sweetness on the nose. Luscious mouthfeel offering raspberry fruit and spice with a long finish. Tannins are beautifully evolved. A few tasters commented it was not as complex or structured as prior bottles.
