This was fabulous last night after about an hour open. Initially dominated by pepper and minerals, strawberry and cherry joined the gaminess to make a very well rounded and balanced glass.

Bought 4 cases upon release and it has never failed to please. Next to last bottle. Have been hovering in low 90s for me for years, but now into the classic range at age 24. No bricking, med. ruby with excellent saturation. Classic CDP nose. Dark cherry on the tongue with crystalline sense. A touch of tomato leaf and iodine. Great balance. One minute finish. A real joy.

I am so Happy about this and maybe the best CDP I've had. Thankful to have 4 of these. The first one was bad..... Thank God I opened #2..... It was so beautiful I almost fell off my Peloton.
Never thought I'd have a chance to taste this again but amazingly found three on auction.
Wine is textbook Chateauneuf with lots of stewed and dried plums, strawberry powder, warm leather, and blood. Consistent with other bottles I've had. Gardine absolutely crushed this vintage and the bottles could last for another 10+ years. So damn good.

Somewhat disappointingly dumb. Typical CndP flavours but, though not tired, neither popping nor displaying secondary or tertiary flavours
